Can I make a duplicate me. Clone maybe!

Today I am trying to figure out how to double my work output. I worked on my cards yesterday and got them finished. Today I need to work on Smokey (horse) plaque. My Grandson's were here on Thursday and Friday. So I literally got nothing done then. I seem to be behind on everything. Decals need to be packaged. Need to design my logo for Silver Pony. Need to work on glass. Visit KC Artists Venue. Etc. etc. etc.

Gotta Do Something Fun

Jim and I have been at home together for the last year and a half. He has been offered a job driving over the road. I look at it as an opportunity for him to succeed with something he

wanted to do. Our lives will change again of course but it will be a positive change.

Today we are getting out of here(the house) and do some things that are fun.

Tomorrow he goes to the sleep doctor. It's a new thing to get his medical card for his DOT.

I have decided to mix my loves

Bored

Right now I feel like I am sitting still (creatively). I really have no inkling on the direction I want to go. I find that everything that I do bores me. I look around my studio and my office and the basement and I wonder why I feel this way. I could have a huge crafts sale and get rid of all of it and not miss any of it. Maybe that is what I will do.

New Year

The first picture is RAYCE the day he won Student of the month.
The second picture is the Santa I gave to my sister for Christmas. I found I really do love painting ceramics still. The new year is finding me with an organized office and a new outlook on the fact that our production has to get going.

Today I have two workshops. One at 2:15, the other at 4:15. We got our first snow this morning. Just enough to cause problems. Wish me luck.

Winter Fun

We are getting together this afternoon at my sister's house. The bird is in the oven. It should be ready about 1:00.

Update on Dot. She is at least 3 inches taller than Trina(our Scottie). She is a real cutie. I will post pictures this weekend.

New Baby

This is Dot. We brought her home early last night because it was supposed to go to 32 degrees. All of her sisters and brothers went to other homes last night so they could stay warm.

New Work

Here is a nightlight and a business card holder. There is a lot more new work to come.

A Day of Rememberaance

There were so many days of tragedy and triumph in my life so far. Today 10 years ago is another among them. Joey was watching TV and I was coloring my hair. He was 3. The special report came on and I watched in horror as the first tower fell. The tears fell as well. Then the second tower fell. Our lives changed forever. I will never forget that day or the day that John F. Kennedy was shot. Robert Kennedy, Martin Luther King, John Lennon all men who changed our lives one way or another.

Today we remember all of the people who we lost that day. May their families find solace with the World who will never forget.

Another Boys Week

Today the boys came back for a week of fun and swimming. Of course it looks like it could rain all day. I had plans of going to the barn in the mornings and swimming in the afternoon. The pool water has fallen to 72 degrees so they probably won't go swimming either. I guess this calls for a readjustment of plans.

We have had the boys this whole week and I have to admit they can wear me out. Either that or these Shingles are responsible. We went to the barn this morning and the heat took everything out of me.

Rain rain go away

Today more showers and chance for severe storms. We may never get the pool up.

Today I am showing you a new pendant. I have a lot of pendants to choose from and you can have your choice of a twisted neckwire or black silk cord or just a bail for your use with whatever you have.

Joplin Tornado

Kansas and Missouri are known for horrible tornadoes but the one in Joplin is right up there with the 1957 Ruskin tornado. My prayers go out to the people in Joplin and to the families of the lost.
